Q. Do I need training to attempt Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)?

A. No. Once again, awareness is always beneficial in advance, should you be faced with the need to undertake CPR. For further information and a full training session in JUST 15 Minutes, follow this link:

Q. Can someone sue me if I attempt CPR or use a Defibrillator?

A. No. If you are acting in the best interest of someone who cannot verbalise their wishes and you think their life is in danger, you can touch them and undertake a resuscitaion attempt. It is not a Criminal Act to do this. Nobody has ever been successfully sued in the UK under civil legal actions. There is an Act of Parliment which can be used to defend you. Read more at this link:
